Our staff are our volunteers. We are unpaid so that our donations go to the causes we care about as a collective - the homeless, individuals with substance abuse and mental health issues, and the most vulnerable.
We began as a small, crowdfunded initiative in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2019. Using Amazon wishlists, friends and family countrywide donated goods to help us assemble homeless kits to handout. We included hand sanitizer, N95s, and pamphlets on public health safety in each homeless kit to help keep recipients healthy.
From there, friends and family who had donated every year began their own Amazon wishlists. They assembled and handed them out in their cities.
In 2021, we moved to Denver, Colorado and became a 501c3 nonprofit. Since then, we have partnered with city public health departments and other nonprofits to distribute Narcan and fentanyl testing strips, as well as information on how to administer them to save a life.
